The CUPRUM-TTD project (2023-2026), (^67/64CU PRoduction and Use in Medicine – Target Technology) is aimed at developing the technology required for the production of Cu-67 from cyclotron by exploiting the ⁷⁰Zn(p,x)⁶⁷Cu nuclear reaction. The INFN-FE section, of which Dr. P. Martini is the local manager, is involved in the project for the study and development of a radiochemical procedure for the separation of Cu-67 from [⁷⁰Zn]ZnO and the recovery of the enriched material.
