RD_FA (Research and Development for Future Accelerator) assembles various R&D for the development of future high energy facilities. The Ferrara group is working on the development of a Micro Pattern Gas Detector (MPGD) for the IDEA (Innovative Detector for Electron-positron Accelerator) spectrometer for a future Higgs Factory proposed by two different projects: CEPC (Circular Electron Positron Collider) in China and FCC-ee (Future Circular Collider) at CERN. Specifically the group activity concern the development of the muon detector and pre-shower.
