Within the framework of the collaboration between the Ferrara Division of INFN and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI), about the MIT Italy Program, recently extended to all the INFN Divisions and Laboratory, Isabella Vesely, a MIT student, worked for three weeks in January 2025 at the local Division, specifically in the research group of the DUNE experiment, contributing to the characterization of the SiPM photodetectors to be employed in the Far Detector and the simluations of the SAND detector, one of the three present in the Near Detector.
